The Optional setting for the Training Type sets the Training as Optional at the Level you have selected. This overwrites the Training Type setting from the Level above and becomes the Default setting for the Level below.
Note: Trainings with the Optional setting will show up in Available Training for Employees, but won't send out email reminders.
