Training Title Content Types
There are six options for adding Content to your Training.
content Type | description |
---|---|
PowerPoint Training Module | A Microsoft PowerPoint file uploaded as Training Content (the system requires a .PPT or .PPTX file to be uploaded) |
Microsoft Producer | An add-in for Microsoft PowerPoint that allows you to add audio and video to your PowerPoint Slideshows (Microsoft Producer has been discontinued by Microsoft) — this is not used |
HTML File(s) | A link to a web page or web video for the Training Content (if linking to a video website like YouTube, use the embed code in place of the URL) |
Adobe Acrobat PDF | A PDF (created or converted) file uploaded as Training Content (this format performs best across all browsers and is the recommended content type) |
Macromedia Flash | A simple Video format (this is an older format and won't play on most browsers without a Flash extension installed) — this is not used |
HTML 5 Path | A link to an HTML 5 web page or HTML 5 web video for the Training Content (if linking to a video website like YouTube, use the embed code in place of the URL) — this is a future feature that isn't currently working |
