The third Type of MOC is Major. A change is considered Major when changing a part or process modifies the PHA, P&IDs, SOPs, and associated Trainings. A Major MOC is also used when adding equipment to a plant.
A Major MOC requires additional steps, multiple approvals, and a PHA.
