MOC Type - Replacement In Kind (RIK)

The first Type of MOC is Replacement in Kind. This is used when the change involves a part being replaced by a similar part that will function the same way.

A Replacement in Kind requires a Change Request and a single Approval without any additional requirements or approvals.

Tip: If you are unsure if a change is a Replacement in Kind or Minor, we recommend using Minor.
